1. Go to www.sbec.state.tx.us. Click "On-Line Services for Educators".

2. Create a username and password if you have not already. Click "New User? Create a New Account"

3. Enter your information and click "Search".

4. Complete the Educator Profile Setup and click "Continue".

5. Create User name and password and click "Continue"

6. Click on "Applications" on the left hand menu bar.

7. A drop down menu will appear and click on either "Probationary Certificate" or "Standard Certificate".

8. Click on "Apply for Certification".

** NOTE: In the portion of the application that reads: "I request to be recommended by this Entity", you choose: "A+ Texas Teachers" (Alternative Program)
