Study: Preparing for the Texas Pre K-4 Teacher Certification by Janice L. Nath and John Ramsey, as well as the online study guide.
Test: It was harder than I expected.
This test was taken on Paper.
Study: The free study guide on the TEXES website was useful.
Test: I found the reading to be the most difficult.
Study: I used the TEXES Book EC-4, and studied with people who had taken the content test. It helps to discuss quesitons that need to be answered and help each other.
Test: It was harder than I expected becuase I didn't know the proper vocabulary for educational terms. So study, study, study!!!
Study: The Book: Preparing for the Texas Pre K - 4 Teacher Certification by Janice L Nath and Jonn Ramsey.
Test: The harder test was Language Arts. You have to study for this one... especially spanish speakers. The easier test was Social Studies. Just make sure and read carefully. A trick is to try and get the practice test in.
Test: The content test was easier than expected due to Elementary experience. Every question required me to visualize my 3 years working as an elementary teacher.
