The amount of time it requires!
What is the biggest challenge for new teachers?

Time management, prioritization.
How long do you think it takes for a new teacher to really get their hands around teaching?

Three-five years.
What do the kids teach you?

Every student is a unique individual. All students want to feel special and all have something to contribute. It's amazing how smart kids are these days, and in many different ways.
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you in the classroom?

Not sure. Kids crack me up every day.
