Texas Teachers is approved to certify in every area. However, it is very important that you seek the advice of our staff before you select a test.

There are many factors to consider for increasing your chances of employment:

• The employment potential in a given subject
• Whether you meet definition of 'Highly Qualified' under NCLB federal act
• Requirements for specific subjects
• Deadlines
• Computer vs. paper test
• Some tests can be taken in two parts
• Difficulty
• What best complements your background
